About Us
Independent Restoration Ltd has been in operation for over 6 years and we specialise in Fire and Flood Damage Restoration caused to commercial and domestic properties. Company director, Richie Armstrong has over 25 years experience of providing specialist services to successfully restore properties and their contents, damaged by water or fire back to their pre loss condition.
We promise full hands-on management of the entire restoration works; our commitment is to reduce any communication issues with regular reporting and full transparency of the Project progress, working closely with Claimants, Insurers, Loss Adjusters, etc.
We are also able to provide Independent Support and Restoration Services directly to businesses and private home owners.
Our staff are all trained to industry standard level and we have been an accredited safecontractor for the last 3 years.

Fire and Flood Services
Our highly skilled technicians are able to respond quickly, effectively and appropriately; mitigating the impact of the incident, reducing secondary damage, managing costs and providing reassurance throughout the project. We work closely with Insurance Companies and Loss Adjusters to ensure claims can be successfully dealt with, returning the building to pre-incident condition in the shortest time possible.
Our skilled technicians often restore items to pre-incident condition; protecting items, often of sentimental value, giving significant cost savings for replacement and disposal. We also arrange removal and storage of undamaged items until the property is rehabitable. Items that are either un-economical to restore, or beyond successful restoration, are recorded on an inventory and photographed for any insurance claims.
Repair programmes following Water/Fire Damage is often required in two stages. Initial Strip out: Removing any materials that are preventing the emergency drying or cleaning works becoming successful. Full Reinstatement: Our experienced team of construction professionals and craftsmen specialise in reinstating properties that have suffered damage caused by fire, flood, impact and burst pipes.
Detection
Our Trace & Access service, provides accurate, non-destructive detection and reinstatement, where traditional methods will be destructive or have failed. This service is a huge savings costs to Insurers, preventing possible major strip out works to find the leak and reducing expensive reinstatement repairs. Our one stop solution that once the leak is located and repaired any drying and building works can be carried out efficiently.
Following a fire or flood, odour can be a problem a complete range of Odour Control and Air Management Systems are available through Independent Restoration LTD, which will not only remove the odour, but eliminate the cause by eradicating the bacteria that cause the problem.
